The mountain plain and nature is the best starting-point for adventurous activities in Kautokeino, the largest municipal in Norway with its near 10 000 km2. The traditions of harvesting from nature are many, of fish, vension and berries. Every season has activities of its own, like scooter safaris in winter, spring migration of reindeers, trips with river boats in summer and grouse hunting in autumn.
